Position Overview
Responsible for operating process machines in assigned area. Incumbents are capable of performing work in a safe and accurate manner. Responsible for filling out desired paperwork for daily reports.
Key Position Responsibilities
- Accurate and safe machine operation.
Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Operate process machinery in a safe and accurate manner
- Load and unload product using forklift
- Perform intermediate adjustments and checks on machinery to assure a quality part is being made
- Inspect equipment to determine problems that may arise
- Understand MSDS for products used in area
- Act as a first responder for chemical spills in the area
- Inspect finished parts for gauge thickness, defects and proper tolerances
Education and Training
- 0-1 years of previous experience or equivalent knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.50 per hour
