Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Steward to join our team. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen and dining areas. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties: - Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment - Assist with food preparation and plating - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash - Assist with receiving and storing food supplies - Help with setting up and breaking down tables for banquets or events - Support the kitchen staff with various tasks as needed Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the kitchen team - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects If you are passionate about the culinary industry and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, we would love to hear from you.
