What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agile Coach position at TIAA?
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agile Coach to join our team. As an Agile Coach, you will be responsible for leading and guiding teams through the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that Agile processes are being effectively utilized, and team members are performing at their optimal level.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Train and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Develop and implement Agile frameworks and practices to enhance team performance and productivity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to optimize Agile processes
- Conduct Agile assessments and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Encourage team collaboration, communication, and self-organization
- Encourage continuous learning and development by providing training, coaching, and feedback to team members
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team and the organization
- Ensure alignment of Agile processes with organizational goals and objectives
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred

- 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred

Career Level

Required Skills
- 5 years' experience in a Corporate or Consulting role
- 3 years' experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master
- 2 years' working with Jira
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certified Agile Coach (CAC) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to achieve high performance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Base Pay Range: $101,800/yr. - $169,700/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
