The Integrated Strategic Planning Director is responsible for partnering with business and technology leaders to facilitate the development and maintenance of TIAA’s cross-organizational, integrated strategic plans. The integrated strategic plans contain the strategic context, outcomes and key progress measures, impacted client and associate experiences, technology roadmap, and forward looking six quarter plans to deliver TIAA’s strategic vision. In addition, the Integrated Strategic Planning Director will identify key insights across the integrated strategic plans and provide recommendations for executive level audiences. Key Responsibilities and Duties Development of the multi-year integrated strategic plans. Developing relationships and partnering with business and technology leaders. Partner with support areas that will contribute to the integrated plans (e.g., technology, finance, digital, CX, etc.). Support cross-strategy analytics and identification of insights across the strategic plans. Connect data elements across large data sets from multiple data sources to facilitate analysis and formulate recommendations. Maintain the integrated strategic plans based on changes in the external environment, shifting business priorities, or results from execution. Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 9IC Required Qualifications: 5 years of experience with strategic planning, management consulting or financial planning and analysis experience within financial services Preferred Qualifications: 7 years of experience with strategic planning, management consulting or financial planning and analysis experience within financial services MBA in Finance or Strategy Ability to break down complex problems to simple actionable plans for resolution Comfortable with top-down strategic thinking and working in a face paced environment with a high level of ambiguity Prior experience with top-tier consulting firms or internal strategy groups Ability to partner, collaborate, and lead cross-functional teams including an ability to influence executive-level leaders Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with leaders and peers, facilitation, interpersonal and collaborative skills Experience communicating with executive leadership within financial services Self-starter, ability to execute without significant oversight, and ability to manage multiple priorities High degree of Financial Services business acumen and deep understanding of project financials and budgeting Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills including IF/THEN and VLOOKUP formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience related to Strategy Deployment Experience with Agile methodologies with a focus on the business planning components Potential Salary: $166,500.00 USD Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
