What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Integrator position at TIAG?
TIAG is now hiring a Systems Integrator to join our team in Norfolk, VA supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC). NIWC provides Health Information Technology engineering support for Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Departments, Defense Health Agency (DHA), and other DoD medical organizations.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Install various Theater Medical Information Program (TMIP) applications on virtual machines and/or physical desktop workstations inside a lab environment
- Configure TMIP applications to communicate with client machines and other servers as necessary
- Coordinate with the TMIP Functional team to support application configuration for training purposes
- Install baseline TMIP software onto physical workstations in a lab environment in support of various software development tests
- Analyze and resolve IT hardware and software infrastructure (virtual servers, network, security, etc.) issues using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software, or system functional specifications
- Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment
- Document and report any issues with installation of TMIP on systems within the lab in a test event for tracking purposes

Required Experience:
- BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- OR Technical Training in Information Assurance, Information Technology, Medical Systems, Network Design, Strategic Planning and/or HIPPA law.
- 6 years of hands-on experience with Information Technology, to include: engineering, development, system administration, system integration, systems requirements, operational requirements, data analysis, test & evaluation, and/or training.
- Recognized expert with demonstrated experience supporting Operational Medicine Military Health customers and mission objectives.
- Able to effect change in a collaborative manner across various teams
- Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Ability to obtain a minimum DoD SECRET clearance, current active SECRET or higher clearance preferred.
