The Opportunity:
Leads a team of managers, guest service representatives and production associates responsible for ensuring delivery of dry-cleaning operations to accomplish the goals of the corporate operations’ strategy. Responsible that the store personnel are always focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and best-in-class garment care. Owns the creation and execution of store culture around, but not limited to; safety, morale, ownership, accountability, pride, efficiency, team, etc. Other responsibilities include the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs and systems. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate exemplary managerial and operational skills including producing the best-in-class garments and exceptional customer experience.
- Responsible for the store team to create, execute and supervise store standards for safety as the top priority. Also supervises and holds the store staff accountable for IWS standards of organization, cleanliness and maintaining equipment standards.
- Provide quality customer service to build and maintain a customer base; create and participate in customer-oriented programs. Solicit customer feedback and use feedback to improve store operations and build brand loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with Tide Dry Cleaners policies, practices, and procedures by effectively utilizing company resources, scheduling, deploying and managing training, providing necessary resources; remaining current on operational changes, deploying changes and developing strong working relationships with corporate departments and operations team.
- Set the tone for a high performing, positive and quality focused store team by recruiting, developing, rewarding and retaining the best operations personnel in the industry; maintain adequate staffing levels; communicate performance expectations and conduct performance reviews; document performance issues and take appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination; coach and develop team members by assessing development opportunities and establishing development plans and conducting succession planning.
- Oversee financial goals through effective use of budgets and expenditures; makes informed decisions and evaluates operations’ profitability and effectiveness by creating and analyzing various reports, key performance measures, trends, budgets, comparable, manpower assessments, and calendars to plan ongoing strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:

- Analytical: Able to review spreadsheets and data to locate areas of improvement and identifying solutions through numbers. Analytical opportunities can include areas such as inventory reconciliation, efficiency models through piece counts, safety data for incident reduction, equipment defects, etc.
- Customer Focused: Commits to meeting the needs and expectations of the organization’s internal and external customers; builds and maintains a customer base; delivers a high level of customer service; searches continually for ways to increase customer satisfaction (i.e. customer feedback).
- Decisiveness: Uses sound reasoning, available information, and experience to solve problems in a timely manner; stands by decisions; ensures appropriate action is taken; makes decisions effectively.
- Developing Team Members: Directs and motivates others, provides timely and specific feedback, changes coaching style to fit individual needs, assesses strengths and development needs of team members and provides opportunities for growth.

- Technical Skills: Able to learn advanced knowledge of pressing and operational equipment to adapt to the challenges of properly finishing new and seasonal fashion styles and fabrics. Understands and maintains the dry-cleaning industry changes and makes changes to store operations to maintain our competitive advantage.
Functional Skills:
- Proficient with computer applications including Excel, Word and e-mail applications
- Cash management skills
Education and Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of direct customer service experience
- 3 years of progressive retail or service industry management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand on your feet without sitting for up to 4 consecutive hours
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
