What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dry Cleaner Operator position at Tide Dry Cleaners?
We are currently seeking a Dry Cleaning Operator/Spotter for our Valrico location.
Our stores are clean, bright, fresh and air conditioned! Our process is completely non-toxic using Green Earth dry cleaning technology and Tide/Downy products. We will provide you with hands on training and all of the tools you need to be successful at Tide Dry Cleaners.
Duties
- Understand the basics of garment construction.
- Launder and dry-clean clothing and other articles, using washing, drying, and dry-cleaning machines and techniques.
- Understand how to properly sort colors and garments.
- Must be able to load, unload and operate Dry Cleaning machines and commercial washing machines.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance functions.
- Properly document and log maintenance tasks.
- Be able to recognize and treat common spots and stains.
- Lifting of up to 20-30 pounds of fabric.
- Maintain quality and production standards.

- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds of fabric and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be available to work early mornings, 6 days a week (Mon.-Sat.). Typical hours are 6:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Experience
- Prior dry cleaning experience preferred but will train the right individual.
