Tiello has partnered with a leading General Contractor who is looking for a Superintendent (3 years) to oversee the construction of commercial climate controlled self storage facilities and hospitality construction in the greater Moyock, NC area.
Title: Construction Superintendent
Project Types: Commercial/Self Storage/Hospitality Construction
Responsibilities:
- Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects in the areas of commercial/hospitality
- Develop and manage project schedules.
- Manage subcontractor performance relationships.
- Be responsible for both the timeliness and total quality of assigned projects.
- Prepare project documentation for coordination and effective site management.
- Implement and execute Quality Control/Quality Assurance program.
- Promote an Injury-free job site through safety initiatives and award winning Company safety program.
Qualifications:
- To qualify for this position you must have a minimum of5 years superintendent experience with good tenures working on self storage and commercial construction projects up to 10MM
- Have an understanding of LEAN construction practices and LEED Green Building requirements.
- Are leaders who prefer to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Develop relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors and other trade partners.
- Are willing to learn new approaches and tools.
- Knowledge of all OSHA and Safety processes and regulations
- Stay on the cutting edge of industry technology and have strong computer skills.
