Overview
TierPoint is looking for an Architect specializing in ServiceNow with a focus on Customer Service Management, IT Service Management, CSDM Service Models and experience with system integrations. The Enterprise Architect: ServiceNow sets the direction and establishes the approach for integration of process, data, and applications with the ServiceNow platform. This individual will help define and mold TierPoint’s services model within the platform to have sustainable, reportable, and accountable data for the organization. TierPoint’s Enterprise Architect: ServiceNow will learn to work on complex enterprise-level business challenges and to mentor key TierPoint resources as we build out our internal and external customer support on the platform.
Responsibilities
- Work with the TierPoint enterprise to integrate, develop, and grow the ServiceNow platform as operational process and data hub
- Assess and Develop the as-is environment leading to future enhancements with minimal customization
- Contribute to the instantiation and ongoing management of TierPoint's Citizen Developer Community for ServiceNow
- Responsible for technical design and code development utilizing Agile development methodologies
- Responsible for the development and documentation of system requirements
- Responsible for technical guidance of other development personnel
- Estimate time and effort for technical resources and proactively communicate progress and forecast changes to the EPMO/Agile leads as necessary
- Work hand in hand with business and process leaders to understand their requirements and ensure the solution fits within the TierPoint ecosystem
- Advise TierPoint on best practices within the ServiceNow platform to create lasting value and enhanced experiences
- Design, proof, configure and build technical solutions within ServiceNow that create low technical debt, high reusability, and a high degree of automation
- Work with key organizations within TierPoint to expand and build our Business and Technical service models withing ServiceNow
Qualifications
- 3 years of in Application Architecture
- 3 years’ experience in ServiceNow
- 3 years’ experience working in Cloud/Hosted environments or with a Managed Service Provider
- 3 years’ experience with database technologies
- 3 years’ developing and working with system and/or data integrations
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science (preferred) or Information Systems, with 5 – 10 years’ total experience in development and maintenance of web-based applications.
- Demonstrated accomplishment in end-to-end life cycle development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team based environment and manage their own day to day workloads.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Integration hub
- Experience with CSM
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Experience in data center or managed service provider environments
- ServiceNow Certifications: Application Developer, System Administrator and/or Service Mapping
- Working understanding of the CMDB and the CSDM within ServiceNow
