What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pickleball Pro/Director position at Tiger Tennis and Fitness?
Looking for part to full time Pickleball Pro/Director. The ideal candidate has worked teaching pickleball skills with an upbeat personality. This individual must be able to interact and instruct players of all levels and ages. A willingness to contribute and operate within a team based environment is essential.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to working in private and group sessions with players, assisting in formation of teams, running tournaments and special events, and growing pickelball program.
Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- Knowledge of pickleball and/or tennis rules, strategies, and techniques
- A fun, friendly, and welcoming attitude that players respond to is a must
- The ability to communicate effectively to groups of children and adults
- Effectively run instructional camp/clinics and organized tournaments groups for adults and juniors.
- Previous coaching experience with strong playing and teaching skills to aid in building a pickle ball program
- Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
- A strong work ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times
- Reliable transportation
- Adherence to and enforcement of business policies.
- Professional interactions and timely responses when engaging with fellow staff members and office management.
- Understand clinics/programming, with the ability to promote and make recommendations to players/parents.
Dependability is required; including being on time, available, and responsive.
Willingness to work as early as 8am to as late as 9pm
Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays as required with time scheduled off as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary commensurate with experience and skill set.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
