What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Account Supervisor position at Tigers USA Global Logistics?
What will I be responsible for?
- Supervising the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, processing and storage for assigned client/account(s) within the logistics department, while being hands on in the operation and completing operational tasks side by side with team
- Managing inventory of client product and running daily cycle counts
- Leading daily team huddles to update employees on daily tasks, orders, priorities, challenges, and successes
- Overseeing employee attendance, time off, and performance
- Using forecast information from account to identify staffing and resource needs, and communicating staffing needs with management
- Communicating regularly with assigned account in the operation and resolving issues as needed
- Communicating customer needs and updates effectively to team to ensure orders are completed according to account requirements
- Monitoring performance and productivity metrics to measure individual and account performance
- Reviewing labor management reports to ensure staffing costs are aligned with account needs and metrics
- Adhering to and enforcing corporate policies and safety standards set by company and OSHA
- Performing additional duties as assigned
What do you need from me?
- 4+ years’ experience in third-party logistics warehouse environment
- 1+ years’ experience leading teams and projects in a 3PL warehouse environment
- Experience leading shipping, receiving, putaway, picking, packing, routing and distribution operations, including understanding of BOLs and POs,
- Experience communicating with customers/customer service experience
- Inventory management experience
- Experience using labor management tools and reports
- WMS Experience
- Experience in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Forklift certified standup/sit-down/reach-truck

Physical Demands
• This role requires individuals to talk, hear, use hands, stand, walk, sit, and see.
• Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver packages between 20 and 70 lbs.
• This position involves heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
