What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian, 1.0 FTE position at TILLAMOOK SD 9?
OBJECTIVE:
To maintain the school building in order to provide students and staff with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to teach, learn, play, and develop.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Have the necessary aptitudes for work, i.e., self-starter, needs a minimum of direction or supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and the use, care and safety of cleaning materials and equipment
- Knowledge of requirements for maintaining school buildings in a safe, clean, and orderly condition
- Three years of experience working with students and public is desirable but not required
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background/Fingerprint check ($66 cost to employee taken out of first paycheck)
- Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccine or a medical or religious exemption form
START DATE: As soon as possible
WAGES: $16.46 – $18.17 per hour, DOE and per OSEA Union Agreement
