What you will do:

The Employee Services (HR) Administrator role is responsible for providing outstanding service and comprehensive support to TCCA employees with an emphasis on advocacy and customer service. This role works under the direction of the People & Culture Employee Services Manager and is responsible for ensuring administrative activity related to People & Culture tasks such as onboarding, recognition programs, filing and departure activities are completed both accurately and timely. This role has many touch points throughout the P&C team and must be able to maintain confidentiality and discretion with regard to all matters.

Here’s a day in the life:

· Maintain general knowledge of P&C related activities and assist with directing employees and managers to the appropriate contact.

· Coordinate employee pre-boarding processes including communicating with new hires with a strong emphasis on timely responses, working with the P&C Coordinator on preparing for orientation.

· Prepare for new hire orientation classes, including assembly of new hire binders, contacting Union for enrollment packets, lunch orders, booking conference rooms, and various other tasks for onboarding new hires.

· Enter data into HRIS system Ultipro to create new hire profiles.

· Ensure P&C employees receive Birthday recognitions per established guidelines.

· Ensure legally required posters are posted as requested; as well as any other postings that need to be published.

· Distribute employee ID badges for hew hires as well as replacement badges.

· Maintain personnel file system including confidential information such as I9 documentation, benefit documents, disciplinary matters, and other sensitive information.

· Work with Uniform vendor in cooperation with plant quality to update billing and headcount accuracy with sizing and quantity of uniforms, as well as fittings for new hires.

· Process and upload E-Verify documents into Ulti-Pro, as required.

· Provide support to P&C managers as needed.

· Coordinate opening and distribution of mail, copying, scanning and printing documents as directed.

· Other duties may be assigned.

· Solid initiative, self-direction, and basic problem-solving skills

· Strong professional communication skills, including ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact.

· Must be discrete and maintain confidential information.

· Act as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

2-4 years senior level administrative experience and/or experience in an HR or legal support role.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and situations of a confidential nature.
