Position Details Tilson is looking for a full time Project Manager to direct a large multi-year government contract for Tilson’s Telecom Consulting division. Responsibilities: Manage and direct large complex government telecom consulting projects. Proactively monitor, identify and implement improvements for the development process. Identify issues and create resolution plans for project-related issues. Review and manage Change Requests in accordance with contracted processes and procedures to ensure it delivery according to the requirements and the agreed timelines. Provide client with analysis and recommendations, keeping them advised of project progress and generally making activities transparent to leadership. Monitor, report and escalate issues. Prioritize activities to maximize results. Qualifications: Experience with government contracting, federal and state preferable. Strong consulting background in telecommunications and project management. Strong communications and facilitations skills. Experience interacting at senior levels in government. Knowledge of broadband and telecom project and program governance. PMP or similar certification. Advanced degree preferred. Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities with conflicting timeframes. Excellent organizational skills, proactive and detail-minded. Travel Expectations: Up-to 50% travel is possible.
