What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Line Cook position at Timber Five Points, LLC?
The Pizza Line position is the backbone of the Timber Kitchen. The pizza line position is responsible for stretching and topping the dough the Timber way, which allows for a perfect cook and leads to a perfect pizza. The Pizza Line must also make sure to find the right balance of speed and consistency when delivering pies to the expo. This is accomplished by ensuring the pizzas are made perfectly each time, and the pizza build station is kept clean and stocked throughout.

The Details
- Arrives for shift on time and in proper work attire.
- Assists Prep, Oven, Salad/Empanada, and Expo stations in completing Opening Procedures to ensure BOH is properly stocked, organized, and clean for service.
- Preps, stocks and loads the pizza line and station to be ready prior to opening.
- Assists Salad/Empanada and Oven stations when needed and able.
- Ensures dough and ingredients are up to Timber quality.
- Keeps Expo and Pizza line up to date on what’s being made on the line.
- Maintains communication with Expo/Oven to advise guests of wait times.
- Quality controls pizzas going into the oven. Communicates with others on the Pizza Line when ingredients and toppings need to be adjusted
- Stretches and tops pizzas to Timber standards.
- Monitors and restocks dough and toppings throughout shift.
- Actively communicates with team members throughout the shift to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Actively assists team members when required.
- Follows Timber protocol for handling service breakdowns/guest complaints.
- Adheres to Timber food safety & sanitation standards throughout the shift.
- Assists Pizza Line and Expo in completing Closing Procedures to ensure BOH is properly shut down at end of service.
- Completes side work duties as assigned.
- May complete deep cleaning tasks, per schedule.
