What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Counselor (part-time) position at Timber Ridge School?
Timber Ridge School is a 12-month residential treatment center licensed and fully approved by the Virginia Dept. of Education. Our employees transform the lives of emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescent boys between the ages of 10-21, with a goal of reuniting them successfully with their families and community. Responsibilities include individual, group, and family counseling. The clinical counselor provides guidance to the unit with regard to appropriate intervention techniques and management plans. The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week minimum and will be paid by the hour.
Minimum Qualifications: master’s degree and license as a professional counselor or clinical social worker.
