Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and team leadership. You’ll work closely with our head office to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role that involves leading by example, working alongside your team, and ensuring that our warehouse runs efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a warehouse team of up to 5 people, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Oversee inventory control, order dispatching, and product management.
- Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and resources, optimizing workflow and storage.
- Coordinate with suppliers to keep materials stocked and ready for distribution.
- Lead training sessions, team-building activities, and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust strategies to meet demand and optimize stock.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leading a team in a warehouse or operations environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, and warehouse management software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one (we’ll provide training if needed).
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- A focus on safety and efficiency in a physical work environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in managing inventory for an ecommerce business, ensuring stock levels are optimized, products are accurately tracked, and orders are fulfilled efficiently.

This candidate leads by example, working closely with the warehouse team to manage daily operations while ensuring that processes align with overall business goals. They are as comfortable on the warehouse floor as they are managing systems and workflows.
3. Analytical and Data-Driven
They use data to make informed decisions, monitoring stock levels, fulfillment times, and operational efficiency, and adjusting strategies based on performance insights.
4. Collaborative and Communicative
They work well with cross-functional teams, providing clear communication with ecommerce and customer service departments, ensuring back-end operations support smooth customer experiences.
5. Proactive Problem-Solver
The candidate is adaptable and resourceful, able to anticipate operational challenges and implement effective solutions, ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and supports ecommerce growth.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
