Document Control Lead

Position Summary: Will be responsible for performing: various auditing functions of established procedures and processes to ensure compliance; document control training and development, as well as helping with daily document control tasks.
Job Description:
- Manages the work activities of department personnel to achieve maximum quality and productivity of the department
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees
- Maintains job results through coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
- Resolves personnel issues to include hiring, counseling, discipline, pay, benefits, and termination
- Works with other departments to establish priorities
- Ability to read drawings and determine quality and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of MTRs and ASME code documentation
- Reviews new or updated document control processes and/or procedures
- Maintains a safe, secure, and productive working environment for department personnel
- Maintains an attitude conducive to progress through positive change, continuous improvement, and an active contribution to the teamwork concept
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience.
- Must have three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training
- Basic knowledge with Excel, Word, and Outlook
Physical Strain:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and meet deadlines
- High energy, motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, while being assertive in a team environment
- Able to work independently and ensure tasks are completed with little supervision
- Able to work well with others
- Lifting up to 25 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
