Titmouse Vancouver is hiring Background Painters for a Sci-Fi Adult Action Comedy series with a style similar to Star Trek: Lower Decks! Priority will be given to BC-based residents.

*If the work for this position is performed within the geographical jurisdiction of the collective bargaining agreement, it will be covered by that agreement.

REQUIREMENTS
Working experience in Photoshop
Portfolio samples of background paintings matching the style of Star Trek: Lower Decks
Strong understanding of lighting and color theory
Preferred: Previous experience as a background painter for episodic animation
Preferred: Candidates living in Vancouver or general BC province
RESPONSIBILITIES
Paint backgrounds received from the background design/layout team.
Revise work based off feedback from the supervisor, director, and/or client
Meet production deadlines and communicate quickly with production if falling behind
Communicate and receive feedback in a professional and positive manner
Maintain confidentiality over all matters and proprietary information
