Our client in Burnsville, Ms is looking for a Housekeeper. Pay will be $12hr and hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.
Please note that this position may involve working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various cleaning chemicals. The ability to fabricate or repair equipment is not required for this role.
Duties:
- Perform custodial duties in a warehouse or food production facility
- Clean and sanitize various areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and production areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to food processing standards and regulations
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability
