THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL PLAN AND SUPERVISE A WIDE RANGE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS FROM START TO FINISH. ORGANIZE AND OVERSEE CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURES AND ENSURE PROJECTS ARE COMPLETED IN A TIMELY AND EFFICIENT MANNER. THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL BE WELL-VERSED IN ALL CONSTRUCTION METHODOLOGIES AND PROCEDURES AND ABLE TO COORDINATE A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS OF DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES TO ACHIEVE THE BEST RESULTS.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage projects to stay within budget and oversee projects from beginning to end.
- Prepare submittals for approval, follow up, obtain approval. Once approved, forward to purchasing for material procurement. Disperse approved submittals to all necessary parties.
- Prepare and submit RFI to customer, disperse responses to all necessary parties.
- Manage change orders and disperse information to all necessary parties.
- Weekly review of As-Builts and quantities claimed, verify if errors were made and draw up final as-builts to justify final quantities.
- Attend jobsite meetings, pre bid meetings and pre work meetings.
- New jobs, review plans and check for problems. Coordinate with Division Manager and Superintendent on solutions before job begins.
- Verify all time and materials are claimed in jobs and verify requisitions are done.
- Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment needed for projects.
- Set up locates, inspections and permits.
- Assist with questions from prime contractor and field personnel about items claimed or how to claim items.
- Prepare and update Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedules
- Help General Superintendent, Superintendents, and Foremen with project coordination and goals.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Sometimes indoors in an office, or outdoors at a construction site.
- Exposed to hot or cold temperatures, depending on the weather.
- Stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk and lift heavy objects (50 lbs.)
