What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at TMG?
The Scrum Master will lead delivery teams supporting the internal team and Client using the Scrum/SAFe framework. The role requires a heavy emphasis on applying Scrum/SAFe practices to teams of varying degrees of Agile maturity, familiarity with Agile Engineering Practices, and Scrum best practices as well as working across the organization to implement positive change (increased partnership across lines of business, transparency, team performance, etc.). Servant-Leadership, organizational, and motivational strengths are essential. The Scrum Master will work with the Scrum Teams to maximize their potential while promoting self-organization.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Expertise with Scrum and SAFe Framework and its application in Product Development and delivery organization
- Multi-year experience as a practicing Scrum Master on a team
- Exposure to modern engineering practices like Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration
- Ability to collaborate with and influence people at various levels
- Sound understanding of PI Planning
- Leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more to serve the team(s)
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities for self while working in a frequently changing environment
- Critical thinking abilities to anticipate potential problems and preventing, minimizing, diagnosing and remedying delivery risks and issues
