Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Information Technology Experiences Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Product Owner. The Global ITSM Product Owner will lead a global team to standardize ITSM processes & consolidate ServiceNow instances to deliver a consistent world class experience to users of Global IT Services. Toyota is currently embarking on a journey to become a more nimble and truly global organization. This transformation requires a large innovative effort involving stakeholders from several different companies with currently independent ITSM practices. The Global ITSM Product Owner will collaborate with key stakeholders from other regions to understand their requirements. The Global ITSM Product Owner will ensure quality and drive the development, utilization, and enhancement of ITSM processes. These processes focus on ITSM best practices including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management & Knowledge Management. The Global ITSM Product Owner will coordinate their efforts with peer product owners responsible for Service Catalog, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and the ServiceNow platform. Working with the Platform team, the ITSM Product Owner will establish and maintain the integrations necessary to deliver world class ITSM tools. This role will have overall responsibility for the team’s deliverables, including scope, cost, schedule, and quality. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader, process-driven, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills. What you’ll be doing Collaborates with ITSM Global Process Owners, and other key stakeholders to drive ITSM best practices and process standardization Supports the team in creating sprint goals and longer-range objectives Prioritizes work in the team's backlog Refine user stories with the team to deliver features and enablers Continually ensure that the team's backlog priorities are aligned with the global strategy Promotes product innovation through engagement with vendors to identify new capabilities Is in constant communication with stakeholders concerning the status of in-progress work and preparation for upcoming work What you bring A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience Experience using ServiceNow for ITSM ITIL v4 Certification Experience in process definition and governance Practical experience working in complex organizations Experience using verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to all levels of management Experience creating and implementing mid to long term strategies Experience identifying and implementing innovative solutions to meet challenges together with the team Added bonus if you have Experience in global standardization and or ITSM Process/ServiceNow instance consolidation Experience managing large scale (>$1M) projects with experience implementing IS solutions for multiple divisions simultaneously (program management) Experience in supporting solution deployments and releases Demonstrated knowledge of the change management activities that are required following a release What we’ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
