The Video Director has a passion for filmmaking. You are creative, conceptual and a problem solver. You are an expert in all aspects of filmmaking. You are an expert storyteller and your command of visual communication is next level. You love keeping up with trends and understand what makes content successful across channels and audiences. You will see a project through from concept to final delivery and have a deep understanding of the production pipeline. You are extremely organized, a clear communicator and have strong collaboration skills. You have the flexibility to travel when the need arises.
The Video Director should have experience in both documentary style and performance-based storytelling. They know the subtleties of conducting a great interview and the ability to pull the best performance out of an actor. They are comfortable working with all levels of professional and real/internal talent. They are flexible and can direct small crews out on location and larger crews for bigger productions.
Responsibilities:
- Must have a firm understanding of all aspects of production, including production equipment, lighting techniques, multiple cameras/lenses, audio, directing talent and crew, and guiding the work from production to post.
- Must have a keen ability to communicate effectively with talent and keep them comfortable so they can deliver these incredible stories and performances on camera.
- Guide and implement the creative vision and create compelling stage/set designs that bring the Un-carrier stories to life in visually captivating ways
- Manage and guide the production team on set/stage while working directly with them to ensure the shoot gets executed flawlessly with no room for error.
- Comprehensive understanding of lighting and audio to ensure highest production quality when crew sizes are limited.
- Mentor and guide other stage tech personnel and photographers to develop their talents and increase future opportunities.
- Possess the ability to take ownership of ideation / creative initiatives and related decisions.
- Work effectively with and influence creative team members and other key stake holders in defining the vision of brand narratives.
- Partner with creative team members and Studio Managers in overseeing the creative process throughout the entire project lifecycle as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’sdegree in Film or related field.
- 5-7 years directing experience; agency, studio, production company, or in-house teams experience a plus.
- Experience managing daily production related activities including crew hires, deliverables and quality control
- Portfolio of work with major brands and examples of performance and documentary content
- Ability to provide innovative creative ideas while adhering to brand guidelines.

• T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
