Qualifications: Training in proper crisis prevention initiatives and universal precautions required. The education and experience requirements are: two years of experience with mental health clients and one year of demonstrated supervisory abilities. The House Manager provides oversight for all operations of the household.
Skills & Knowledge Required:

Duties & Responsibilities/Principal Activities:
· Ensure Home and Grounds are Safe, Clean and Orderly at all times; Staff, Resident and Common Areas.
· Develop and Promote Household Rules as well as TNV Policy Standards with Residents and Staff.
· Available 24/7 for all Shift Questions and Needs; provide for a surrogate during PTO.
· Ensure adequate staffing for all shifts; develop and post a Weekly Staff Schedule.
· Collect Time sheets from all TNV Direct Care Residential Specialists.
· Collaborate with the Care Coordinator in developing a monthly budget plan with each resident that details short term and long-term financial goals.
· Hire, Train and Monitor Staff:
o Develop and Post Shift Responsibility check-list
o Review Notes to ensure Timeliness and Quality Standards are met
o Evaluate Staff Performance
o Enforce TNV Progressive Discipline Policy
o Conduct Quarterly Staff Training Sessions
o Shadow all new Staff for a minimum of three shifts
· Ensure adequate and healthy foods are available in the Home at all times; weekly menu to be prepared and posted.
· Qualified as a Food Service Handler through the Metro Public Health Department
· Conduct Home Intake for all new Residents and complete annual update to all required paperwork: CareLogic Intake, Inventory resident property, complete Residential Agreement, review Household rules and schedule, orient to the home, introduce staff and peers, etc.
· Conduct periodic House Meeting with Residents to review rules, client rights, discuss menu options, etc.
· Report and Review all Resident medical concerns and questions to the Program Director and relevant Treating professionals.
· Report and Review all Resident Incident Reports to the Program Director.
· Conduct a monthly Fire/Bad Weather Drill in the Home.
· Maintain an onsite Filing System for all Household Records.
· Ensure all Resident Records are sent to Medical Records for scanning.
· Collaborate with the assigned care coordinator for all Residents Health and Social Service needs.
· Collaborate with Resident, Care Coordinator and other Treatment professionals for the development and implementation of a Treatment/Care Plan which identifies Mental Health, Independent Living and/or Step-down Goals.
· Provide support and assistance to residents in a variety of areas and skills (domestic, personal hygiene, work, social and recreational skills and self-help skills.)
· Responsible for prompting and physically assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). This includes bathing, grooming, cleaning, chores, and other daily activities of independent living.
· Demonstrate mastery of the areas of training designated for your role in Relias.
· Attend all General Staff Meetings.
· Grocery and Supply Shopping as requested by the Program Director.
· Authorized agent for an assigned Agency Credit Card to be used for program related expenses.
· Responsible for completing an itemized monthly expense report for all Agency Credit Card purchases.
· Personal Compliance with all TNV Policies and Procedures.
· Comply with the Federal Confidentiality Law and HIPPA regulations and guidelines to protect the rights of the client.
· All other duties as appropriate and as needed that are essential to the House operations and basic client care but not necessarily included within description of responsibilities.
