Description
TNG is seeking a dynamic and talented Product Marketing Manager to join
our Marketing team. The Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in
optimizing our current portfolio of products and services. This dynamic
position involves conducting market research, assessing competitive
landscapes, and refining product positioning to meet the evolving needs of
educational institutions and organizations with whom we partner. Drawing
upon a deep understanding of the education sector, this role will contribute
significantly to the success of TNG and its member associations.

Key Responsibilities
Product Assessment:
Evaluate the current portfolio of products and
services offered by TNG Consulting, ATIXA, and NABITA. Identify areas
for improvement, enhancement, or streamlining.
Market Research:
Conduct thorough market research to understand
customer needs, pain points, and emerging trends within the education
industry. Use this research to inform product optimization strategies.
Must convey this research effectively in written and visual forms
(charts, graphs, etc.).
Competitive Analysis:
Analyze competitors’ products and services to
identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
Product Enhancement:
Collaborate with internal teams to drive
enhancements and updates to existing offerings based on audience
feedback and market trends.
Product Positioning:
Product Positioning:
Develop clear and compelling product
positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the value of
TNG Consulting, ATIXA, and NABITA’s products and services. Must
communicate value propositions and product differentiation without
flowery language while incorporating the brand voice, tone, and style.
Content Creation:
Create content for marketing materials, including
brochures, case studies, website content, and other collateral, to
support product promotion.
Sales Enablement:
Create sales enablement materials that equip the
sales team with the necessary resources to sell and promote products
and services effectively.
Marketing Campaigns:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns to
generate demand for existing products and services, including digital
marketing, email marketing, and social media initiatives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the education industry, showcasing a proven track record of success.
- A deep understanding of the education industry, including compliance and legal issues, safety protocols, personas, and student support services, is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong content writing background with the ability to produce compelling marketing materials that resonate with the target audience.
- Experience collaborating effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical information into customer-centric content.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with sales teams, gathering feedback and providing the necessary sales enablement materials and support to maximize their effectiveness.
- Proficiency in conducting market research to inform product marketing strategies, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
- Proven expertise in developing clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates the value of educational products and services.
- Strong analytical abilities, with the capability to use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing success and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for precise and efficient communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills to plan and execute marketing campaigns and product launches effectively.
