Primary Tasks
- Fills and re-fills pre-packaged prescriptions
- Provide patient with required drug indication and contraindication information
- Maintain independent dispensary programs for each physician
- Keeps working area clean and organized
- Uses prescription-dispensing software. Enters data into a computer system and retrieves, corrects, and/or deletes previously entered data.
- Inventory control and restocking. Maintains inventory of drugs, chemicals or other controlled substances and ensures their security.
- Provides timely response delivering pre-packaged prescription to the ordering physician pod within TOC Main
- Friendly and Professional patient communication - (Answering and returning patient phone calls, medication education, responding to and charting patient messages and communication with patients.)
- Other tasks as assigned.

- Higher than normal skills dispensing of pharmaceuticals
- Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in either written or electronic format.
- Assemble, sort, and/or distribute documents, supplies, and/or materials/items.

- Coordinate with medical office staff and physicians in problem solving issues.
- Use automated software applications.
- Monitor and track information or data.
- Maintain inventory; track receipt, sending and delivery of materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff
- Physical ability to “run” pre-packaged prescription to pods in a timely manner
