What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Advisor position at Todd Equipment Inc?
Todd Equipment is a family owned towing equipment business that has been around for over 30 years! We are a tow truck dealership. We build, sell, and service tow trucks. In addition to these services we also offer a fully stocked parts department, ready to sell parts to our customers and get them on the road.
Todd Equipment is looking to add an individual to our team that will fulfill the role of "Service Advisor". This will be a hybrid position, service advisor duties will be the priority. When not advising this individual will help the parts department with their duties as needed.
No experience necessary, we will train the right candidate. Must have basic computer literacy, excellent customer service skills, and great telephone etiquette.
Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to our customers
- Answering the phones in a prompt and professional manner
- Scheduling customers service appointments on the google calendar
- Following up with customers daily that have trucks in the shop or that are awaiting parts
- Work in conjunction with the operations manager and shop foreman to build a sustainable service schedule
When not performing Service Advisor duties this individual will be expected to help the Parts Department with their needs. Some of these duties are to include but not limited too:
- Restocking Parts Shelves
- Unloading freight
- Driving company vehicle to deliver and or pick up parts if needed
- Moving trucks around the lot
- Sweeping etc
Starting pay is DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
