Production Control - Section Manager

The desired candidate will supervisor and lead the process of planning production in advance of operations, by establishing the exact route of each individual item, part or assembly; setting starting and finishing dates for each important item, assembly and the finished products, and releasing the necessary orders as well as initiating the required follow-up to effectuate the smooth functioning of the company

• Evaluates written data such as orders, product specifications and bill of materials, parts and materials inventory lists, and machine and worker production rates, to ensure a smooth execution of the production plan.
• Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
• Maintains finished good and components levels at the designated levels.
• Safety stock coordination in the plant.
• Kanban control and maintenance.
• Support and control the new products and abnormal production process.
• Coordinate the contacts with our customers.
• Supervise the design change control process in the plant.
• Coordinate and control the phase out activities.
• Co-chair the physical inventory activities.
• Coordinate the cycle count program.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
• Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
• Compose performance evaluations for direct reports.
