An exciting opportunity for a Customer Operations Scheduler to join the company on a permanent basis has become available.
As a Customer Operations Scheduler you will be responsible for scheduling and routing for our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating pick ups and deliveries of customers products to their end users in line with required timeframes and service specifications.
Scheduling various Global Express and external resources to provide a consistent and reliable experience for the involved stakeholders and providing clear and accurate information regarding deliveries in progress when queried by customers, end users, or Global Express management.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive inbound and make outbound phone calls and emails to communicate delivery information with customers and end users
- Consolidate information received regarding deliveries being scheduled and communicate this through to relevant parties
- Enter relevant information into various CRM/ERP/TMS systems from Global Express and its Clients to correctly invoice and track deliveries throughout the process
- Process notification communications in line with agreed standards and timeframes
- Communicate timelines and operational requirements to customers in line with task specific SOP’s
- Complete relevant reports and documentation as required
- Comply with all Global Express Safety SOP’s and requirements
ESSENTIAL PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work under pressure and autonomously without direction
- Ability to maintain ongoing client relationships ensuring timely and specific lines of communication
- Ability to prioritise competing issues in a high-pressure environment
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external, responsive to customer’s needs
- Proven ability to build and maintain excellent relations with senior management, various business units, and regulatory bodies both internally and externally.
- Lateral thinker with hands on attitude

Secondary: HSC
Professional: Min 2 years transport experience
