Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality/high tolerance components.
Duties:
- Ability to load the program, set up, tool up, and prove out the part with minimal assistance.
- Operate CNC Lathes & Mills to produce procision parts to print.
- Follow work orders and fill out documentation appropriately.
- Monitor machines to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Make appropriate adjustments to tool/work offsets to hold part dimensions in tolerance.
- In process inspections of machined features using precision measuring tools.
- Performs routine maintenance on machines.
- Keep a clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Ability to read and interpret prints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Detail oriented (Past Aerospace/Medical experience a plus).
- Ability to easily communicate with coworkers, programmers, and supervisors.
- Must have your own tools.
Our shop is solely Mazak machines. Past Mazak/Mazatrol experience not required but preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 48 per week
