Description:
TOMITA USA, Inc. has an immediate opening for an outside industrial sales Account Manager to cover the Kentucky sales territory. Our primary focus is the Japanese Automotive Manufactures, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers. The Account Manager will visit key customers on a regular basis and develop an action plan to grow and maintain accounts while identifying customer’s needs and market opportunities.
Essential Functions:
- Develops multiple relationships within the customer’s organization including purchasing, engineering, facility managers, project managers, maintenance, quality and corporate level management.
- Develop product knowledge while using the hands-on approach and personal initiative.
- Develop relationships with vendors to gain product knowledge and technical support.
- Customer service support and team commitment.
- Produce and track sales, orders and inventory reports.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Position requires a technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and strong organizational and time management skills. Candidates must be able to work within a team organization, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Must have a clean driving record.
Minimum Required Education:
HS Diploma
Minimum Required Experience:
- Three years outside sales experience, preferably with an industrial distributor.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, abrasives, pneumatics, maintenance, repair and/or operating products.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel with aptitude to learn new computer applications.
- Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately.
- Ability to react well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
