Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will drive a strong corporate governance framework, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and performance improvement for TOMRA Collection Australia. You will be responsible for operational reporting, cash management and risk governance. This is a hands on role where you will have ownership over the General Ledger and ERP system, and will conduct continuous improvement for Finance functions. The main duties of this role include:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of the Finance department
- Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and analysing budget variances
- Promoting the growth and development of your team
- Overseeing the month end process
- Managing the year-end audit with external auditors
- Identifying and implementing continual improvement initiatives related to current accounting processes and reporting
- Cashflow forecasting
- Managing Container Deposit Scheme refund monies
- Ensuring strong inventory management in collaboration with the Service and Operations departments
Qualifications
- CPA/CA Qualification(s)
- 8 years in an Accounting role
- Previous experience in leading and developing a highly effective team
- Experience with IFS ideal but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer software skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
