Home Insurance Specialist

Job Description

Toombs Insurance Group is looking for a Homeowners Insurance Specialist. Experience is not needed, but would definitely be a plus. 

We currently work with 15-20 different insurance carriers for home insurance. Many of these carriers are taking rate increases or getting out of the market entirely. 

We are looking for someone to help us manage the existing customer base and help grow it.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

Requirements

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
• Must have ability to multi-task.
• A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
• Professional phone etiquette.
