What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Specialist position at Top Prospect Group?
Part Time - 5-10 hrs Per Week - 60-70/hr - White Plains Area / Onsite Work
Cisco Experience is a Must HAVE
1) Ability to guard against external and internal security threats, ability to arrange for and withstand independent penetration testing.
2) Ability to provide and enforce zero reliance on cloud services. LAN must continue to support all internal operations of the company even under loss of Internet connection to the outside world.
3) Ability to design, conduct and document periodic user training (security, compliance, etc).
4) Configuration and maintenance of fully managed Mikrotik routers and switches as LAN backbone (if none, I will provide MikroTik-specific training to anyone who has general networking knowledge and router experience).
5) Configuration and maintenance of Windows Server 2019 machines as primary/backup domain controllers, file server and private VPN server.
8) Configuration and maintenance of Windows and Mac machines as clients.
9) Ability to procure enterprise volume licensing for software from reputable VARs (Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise, Windows 10 LTSC Enterprise IoT, Office LTSC).
10) Ability to balance compliance requirements with human needs in the diverse team that includes business, manufacturing, servicing and R&D operations
