POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Lead will be required to oversee staff within their work area to ensure they are preforming their duties in accordance with company standards and policy. In addition, supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the DC, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient DC operation in achieving business targets.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Must have a least one (1) year of leadership in a Distribution Center/ Warehouse environment
• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which can fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set goals
• Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules
• Assist in the training of new DC associates within area of responsibility
• Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level
• Review ways to reduce errors and wastes
• Ensure staff comply to health, safety and environmental regulations and work safely to protect themselves and others in the DC environment
• Ensure clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency
• Stocking pack stations for start-up.
• Assist pickers in reducing transition time between order batches
• Processing orders requiring special handling
• Picking bulk orders requiring the use of powered industrial equipment
• Able to run nightly reports on error and production
• Performing product relocations
• Performing bin audits
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Three years of proven warehouse experience of. Ability to motivate, develop and lead others. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/ cost of poor quality. Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines. Excellent attention to details.
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Products to include excel.
