What You'll Do:
Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the department and supervise the department team to achieve sales, gross profit and shrink goals. You'll handle processing, preparation, packaging, storage, and merchandising of product (i.e. muffins, cakes, etc.); ordering and receiving of product and supplies; fulfilling customer orders and requests; ensuring proper case/shelf and sales floor conditions and stock levels; and selection, training, development, and scheduling of Bakery associates.

Job Requirements
Ideally, you'll have previous related bakery experience. You'll need to be friendly and courteous in order to provide excellent customer service, as well as the ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions. Excellent communication skills, basic computer skills and the ability to operate oven, mixer, proofer, slicer, and other bakery production equipment, as well as baler/compactor, and computerized scales is also important. Department Managers will need to be available nights, weekends, and holidays, and bakery associates must be at least 18 years of age.
