What you’ll do:
As more of our workloads run on AWS, we need experts in deploying and running large scale systems in the cloud. We maintain a mixture of vendor provided and open-source software to help engineering teams achieve their goals. Some of the responsibilities we have include:
- Installing and operating third-party software integrations
- Supporting shared infrastructure, such as Managed Airflow and Kubernetes clusters
- Defining and enforcing proper use of billing tags to track costs
- Collaborate with teams specializing in perception, planning, control, mapping and vehicle testing to develop solutions that support their development efforts in AWS
Here are some of the technologies we’re looking for:
- Managed services powered by AWS (EC2, Load Balancing, RDS, SQS, Event Bridge, MWAA)
- Terraform
- Python
- Kubernetes
- On-Call Tooling (PagerDuty, Datadog, AWS Cloudwatch)
What you’ll need to Succeed:
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- A strong commitment to test-driven development patterns, continuous integration and delivery, and infrastructure as code
- Strong knowledge of AWS or other public cloud services
Bonus Points!
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills working with a team orientation and collaborative style
- Identity and Access Management tooling experience
