TBL - Regional Product Specialist, HPLC Bioanalytical

Tosoh Bioscience LLC is a major supplier of chromatography products to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries. Our product line includes:TSKgel®, TOYOPEARL®, and Ca Pure-HA® bulk media, TSKgel U/HPLC columns, process development products, dedicated systems for GPC analysis, and the LenS3 MALS detector. We have optimal solutions for biological research, drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, agriculture, manufacturing, or other industrial applications.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development
Serves as liaison for the product development projects ongoing.
Identifies potential collaborations and business development opportunities, acquisition, technology licensing, and joint product development.
Assists in development and execution of product-line growth strategy.
Continuously monitors the competitive landscape and provides feedback.
Performs quantitative and qualitative market analysis and monitors industry trends.
Participate in new product development with Tosoh Bioscience R&D department.

Marketing Strategy
Assists in the development and execution of marketing programs to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
Assists in creation of plans for the distribution, pricing, promotion, positioning of products within target markets.

Product Promotion
Creates presentations of technical data for the HPLC Columns and LenS MALS Detector product line.
Produces applications marketing collateral to support HPLC Columns and LenS MALS Detector sales team including presentations, application notes, videos, etc.

Product Ambassador
Assists technical service in supporting customers, addressing quality issues, and handling complaints.
Assists in training of sales team on new technologies and products.

Project Management
Coordinates and completes projects on time within budget and within scope.
Sets timelines, analyze costs, monitors and summarize progress of projects.
Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

Education

Bachelors degree in Biology, Biochemisty, Biotechnology, or related field required.
Masters degree or Ph. D preferred

Skills and Qualifications
.
5 years experience in HPLC Chromatography, or any combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated understanding of analytical separations in a biomoleculues such as mAbs and proteins.
Demonstrated experience with HPLC Columns and MALS Detector
Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time domestically

Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, twist, squat and reach.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
