Rental Manager
Reports to:
Director of Service
Purpose: Total Energy Systems, LLC is seeking a qualified Rental Manager to work out of our Green Bay, WI facility within the generator and engine rental service industry. The employee must establish authority, accountability, responsibility, duties, and measures of performance of the Rental Manager. This person will be responsible for the overall operation of rental business across our service area, this includes facilitating and assisting service technicians, customer service, and at times the sales personnel at all branches. This person will need to maintain the company culture and will need to cultivate a pleasant and productive work environment.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Overall profitability of the rental department
- Purchasing and maintenance planning of all rental equipment within company budgets
- Tracking and inventory control of all rental equipment
- Sales and marketing of rental equipment
- Rental quotation and follow up
- Use company CRM tool for sales activity tracking and follow up
- Rental business growth
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key accounts, prospects, and suppliers
- Travel throughout Total Energy Systems territories to maintain consistent presence
- Effectively communicate among multiple branches and headquarters
- Coordinate multiple activities and schedules
- Familiarize themselves in all aspects of the Rental Department
- Be able to handle customer concerns in a mutually beneficial manor
- Effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing
- Attend all meetings, conference calls and training sessions as required
- Assist with customer support as necessary including problem resolution, financial collection, and information requests
- Meet or exceed financial and utilization goals set by leadership
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities/Requirements/Experience:
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college, or technical school, or one year related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education
- Required: Valid Driver’s License
- Requires three or more years of experience in rental sales or similar position within a rental operation
- Ability to understand the terminology used in the generator industry
- Must be computer literate
- Self-Starter, exercises good judgment, is proactive, and demonstrates timely follow-through
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
