Total Mortgage is seeking a Business Technology Support Associate to join their rapidly growing technology team.  The business technology team works to build, implement, deploy and refine the tech services and products used throughout the loan process for our growing business.

The ideal candidate will have held various positions in the mortgage industry, and should have excellent communication skills, be positive, motivated and have a strong desire to expand their knowledge and experience in the technology field.

This role will work closely with management to evaluate and implement new technology vendors and services, create best practices and assist with a variety of specialty projects and assignments.  This position will also help to discover and share insight on potential business process improvements and assist with the change management process as improvements are delivered.  Particular focus will be on automation and streamlining of process flows.

Responsibilities / Functions

  • Assist with the day-to-day execution of project implementations, including, but not limited to analysis, planning, building, testing, documentation and implementation of new tech offerings
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of the mortgage business including regulatory and compliance issues
  • Help to organize and gather required information to better understand functionality and support requirements for new products
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships
  • Help to identify improvement projects to enhance existing processes and systems
  • Create and update training guides and best practices
  • Assist with training on new and existing systems and products
  • Review system release notes, participate in testing and implementation of release upgrades, and communicate to end users
  • Additional related duties may be assigned, as required.

  • Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., Encompass), Customer Relationship Management (e.g., Salesforce), or other mortgage related products is considered a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two years mortgage industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

Must be U.S. citizen or green card holder.
