Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Low Voltage Warehouse Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations related to low voltage technology products and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing low voltage equipment and products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet project requirements.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Coordinate with project managers and field technicians to ensure timely delivery of equipment to job sites.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficiency measures to optimize warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs and manage vendor relationships.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and minimize inventory shrinkage.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory movements and generate reports as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to facilitate efficient operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse management, preferably in the low voltage or technology industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
