Experience:

  • 1 year Call Center or similar/related experience required
  • 1 year customer service or similar/ related required
  • 1 year of Sales and/or Advising or similar/related required
  • 1 year financial institution experience preferred
  • 1 year consumer lending experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in lieu of experience will be considered for internal candidates

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven customer/member service skills
  • Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills or demonstrated ability
  • Ability to work with all departments, personality types, and skill levels effectively
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
  • Lead by example and represent the highest level of member service
  • Strong ability to multi task and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, either independently or as a team

Other Skills:

  • Well-organized, good mathematical ability, with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Required to work at any credit union location that may include extended hours, holidays, or Saturdays
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel), as well as advanced keyboarding skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
