Job DescriptionJob Description The qualified candidate must have at least a good mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of blueprints; if you have a good attitude and work ethic we’ll train you on the rest. Job Duties: Gathers the necessary parts to assemble each unit. Assembles/builds material handling equipment (roller conveyors, drag chain conveyors, transfers, pallet stackers, pallet dispensers, etc.) in the proper sequence according to the assembly blueprint using nuts, bolts, pins, etc. Works individually or as part of a team. Ensures that each piece of equipment is fully assembled and functional according to customer specifications. Performs a Factory Acceptance Test for each piece of equipment. Coordinates with the paint department to ensure that the paint is touched-up prior to shipping. Coordinates with the project engineer for a final inspection prior to shipping. Having basic tools (socket wrenches, box & open end wrenches, Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, hammer, tape measure, wire cutter, wire stripper, etc.)
