WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Total Systems Technologies Corporation (TSTC) is seeking a part-time Recruiting Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the recruitment of top talent for our open positions as well as other recruiting and HR related tasks as assigned. We are looking for someone who has some experience in recruiting but will also consider individuals who have experience in customer service or working with different types of people. Experience recruiting Veterans or have knowledge of veteran programs a huge plus. Understanding of federal contracting is a bonus.

This is a part time, non-exempt, hourly, W-2 hourly position for approximately 40-45 hours per month. You must reside in a HUBZone to be eligible for this position. You can check your HUBZone status at https://maps.certify.sba.gov/

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Provide Recruiting support in the areas of reviewing applicants against job requisitions and company needs.
  • Contact applicants to set up phone screens and interviews.
  • Add feedback questionnaires to jobs.
  • Draft job requisitions.
  • Research HUBZones and places to find HZ candidates.
  • Work within a team as well as independently on corporate projects as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School degree and can demonstrate requisite knowledge
  • Should possess at least 2 years of Customer Service or Recruiting experience. 
  • Should have a have basic knowledge of government proposal cycle.  
  • Basic understanding of government terminology, knowledge of government contracts, knowledge of RFP’s and RFI’s, understanding of commonly used software’s, contract vehicles, and agencies.
  • Basic understanding of recruiting and recruiting best practices. 

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Applicants selected must be a U.S. Citizen.

Work is primarily remote. Very occasional travel to DC office may be required.
