Position Title: Associate Patient Care Coordinator/Patient Service Representative (Clinic)
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Work Location: Marble Falls, TX
Terms: 3 month Contract to Possible Hire
*Up to date vaccinations (including COVID) is required or must be willing to do so upon hire
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and personal information
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in medical terminology is required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
