As the Home Care Coordinator, you will assist with the In-Home Care Services department that serves our residents. This role is responsible for organizing and helping to manage caregiver’s schedules, filling in for caregiving schedules that are vacant, meeting with potential clients to review and direct the client care and services provided by the department, and ensuring the provision of safe and appropriate services. You will assist the Home Care Manager with the interviewing, onboarding, and scheduling of new team members as well as the training of all home care team members. You will also assist the Home Care Manager as back-up for payroll and billing. You will work closely with our community’s teams to ensure all clients receive the support they need for their overall safety, care, and life enrichment.

Position & Educational Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, combined with at least 2 years of experience in a health related field or program;
- Current Idaho driver’s license and current auto insurance required;
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred;
- Medical office or clinical coordination experience required;
- Experience in Home Health or Home Care preferred
- Demonstrated time management, communication, team building, and teaching skills;
- Speaks, reads and writes English in order to understand written and oral communication

- Have the knowledge required to conduct initial evaluations of each client and to complete service plans for clients;
- Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
- Be proficient with computers, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
