As a Housekeeping Manager, you will contribute to the overall success of our community by fostering an environment of cooperation and teamwork, leading and mentoring a team of Housekeepers, and visiting with residents to determine the quality of service being provided by your team. The person who fills this role will be accountable for all aspects of the day-to-day housekeeping operations of our community, ensuring all areas of the community are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and order at all times. Salaried Positionup to $50,000 annually pay based on experience The ideal candidate will:Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and giversPossess a high school diploma or equivalentHave at least two years’ experience in housekeeping managementHave experience working as a housekeeper in a resort or retirement community, though this is not requiredHave a “can do” attitude towards their work and be passionate about maintaining a five-star site appearanceBe able to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with residents and team members, and have the physical ability to perform tasks that require continuous walking, standing, bending, and liftingBilingual Engish/Spanish is a plusBe proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applicationsBe able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitorsMust have a flexible availability to include weekend coverage
