We're looking for our next talented Lead Custodian to join our dynamic team!

Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village has an opening for a Lead Custodian within our Housekeeping department. This position will be full-time and will focus primarily on general custodial duties throughout our resort-style campus.
In this position, you have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team both within the department and across the community at Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village, to make a genuine difference in the lives of seniors.
The schedule for this position is full-time Sunday through Thursday.
Position Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ability to operate all necessary equipment to perform essential functions of the position
• Assist with employee relations
• Ensure custodial duties are performed in accordance with the established Touchmark Gold Standards
• Assist management team if any repairs are needed
• Help manage changes in equipment performance and the need for supplies
• Maintain a clean environment and a healthy atmosphere for Residents, guests, and team members

• Patient, tactful, and flexible when dealing with residents, family members, volunteers, visitors, physicians, staff members and the general public
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks
• Attention to detail; passion for getting things done right
• Adherence to the Touchmark Gold Standards of behavior and performance, including Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion.
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends
• In addition to the custodial duties you will be expected to be a first responder in the event of an emergency situation (First responder training and CPR/First Aid training will be provided)

No experience is necessary but ideal candidates must have a heart for serving others, as well as:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• The willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• The ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, team members and guests
• Be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be 18 years old older
• Must be able to pass a drug and background test
