Full-Time Receptionist for Collegeville Primary Care
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
The Receptionist will be the first individual patients come in contact with as they enter the Image Recovery Center (IRC). This individual will be responsible for administrative and clerical work. Answers telephone, schedules appointments, coordinates daily client schedules with IRC employees. Coordinates insurance coverage, prepares and sends bills. Receptionist will have daily contact with daily client schedules with IRC employees. Coordinates insurance coverage, prepares and sends bills. Receptionist will have daily contact with patients and family members who will be dealing with many issues related to the cancer diagnosis. This position will require an individual who demonstrates compassion and patience at all times. Receptionist will have constant contact with insurance companies. The receptionist may be called upon to assist with presentations to community agencies.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, required.
- Some office management, billing experience is beneficial.
- Phone skills, basic computer skills, ability to read and understand reports, good organizational skills, understanding of billing and insurance issues.
- Ability to speak effectively in public. Ability to complete inventories and order supplies. Must be proficient in Quickbooks and Medical Equipment Billing.
